Today, I had a meeting with @satyajithange co-founder of @twobrothersorganicfarmsindia about collaboration for providing a marketing platform to our @agrorangers organic #farmers. We have given samples of organically grown Green Gram, Brown Gram, Moth Bean, Horse Gram and other pulses by our farmers. We will be working with TBOF to grow cereals, pulses and millet organically with AGRO RANGERS farmers. Thank you so much @akash_vavhal for making this collaboration possible.

We are truly delighted to inform you all that we have been selected to be the cohort of Project Aasha for High impact volunteering with the students from @londonbschool (London Business School)
Under this program, we have been connected with a team of 4-5 volunteers from London Business School and they would be working with @agrorangers over 3 months. They will be pertained in the strategic work input and developing organisational strategies.
We hope @agrorangers (AGRO RANGERS team) will benefit immensely from this engagement in strategic planning.
We are very thankful to the @headheldhighofficial (Head Held High organization) for considering our application and providing such an amazing team.

On 23rd February, we had conducted our first surve

On 23rd February, we had conducted our first survey for collecting data on the indigenous mix cropping systems. We had interviewed more than 15 farmers in detail. Each farmer was interviewed for more than one hour to collect information about indigenous intercropping, mix cropping, layer cropping and other interesting learnings from these farmers. We are very thankful to the villagers of Wafgaon and to all farmers who contributed to this survey and provided amazing information. Also, thank you so much to the volunteer team who had joined our hands to collect this data. Soon we will be publishing our learning and interesting indigenous facts for the next generations of farmers.

We will be documenting and conducting exploratory research in mixed indigenous cropping system with WASSAN organization. Those people know villages from rainfed areas please connect with us. This is participatory research at grass root level. The documented pattern will help us to get design principles of mixed cropping system. These crops in rainfed areas is covers soil for maximum duration throughout the year and provided nutritional security to soil and households.

We are delighted to share with you all that the crash course on "Permaculture" organised by Agro Rangers got completed successfully on 26th & 27th January.
Around 11 participants had actively participated in this workshop. The session was found to be very interactive and retraining for the participants. Also, the hands-on experience made the participants learn the actual concept of Permaculture better and in effective manner.
We would like to thank @seedsnehal for his valuable time and guidance. We are coming up with new permaculture design of our 7 acres farm.

We are organizing our crash course workshop on Introduction of Permaculture. On 26th, we are organizing one day event in Shivajinagar, Pune and on 29th & 30th January at our farm in Dhamari village, Shirur, Pune.
Join us for hands on action and farm campaign at our farm to get glimpse on introduction to permaculture design workshop. We are designing our barren land into self-sustainable regenerative organic farming training center for farmers through permaculture principles. We are working from scratch to convert barren land into self-sustainable permaculture model. Participants will get knowledge and experience from basics to ground experience.

@access_agriculture is making a video specially based on a marketing model developed by our 20-25 farmers. This group of farmers is those who are practicing regenerative organic farming methodology to rejuvenate the soil and produce healthy food. We as a farmer group have even partnered with SAAD Agronics to reach more consumers. Our farmer's self-help group is connected with more than 200 consumer families to deliver healthy organic produce. The complete organic food delivery model works on farmer-consumer relationships to build a healthy community. We are also arranging a program -' be a farmer for a day for consumer family's exposure to know about how their food is being grown. According to the UN, by 2050, 90% of the earth's soil will be degraded. We have left 45-50 years of soil only. In our village, the average organic carbon in soil is less than 0.5%. Degradation of soil is pushing the planet towards a sixth mass species extinction. We are rejuvenating the most affected and degraded soil by the regenerative organic farming method. We need to act now, at @agrorangers, we are working on innovative solutions which is building soil health. Support us at @agrorangers to rejuvenate the degraded soil and fight climate change.
