In Ranger’s camp program, we will conduct a 5-day monthly workshop for minimum 20  farmers. In these workshops, farmers from all over India can participate to gain hands-on knowledge and experience in regenerative organic farming. Also, we will be making short videos on regenerative agriculture which can be shared through WhatsApp and YouTube to demonstrate need for, spark interest in, and disseminate information about organic farming.

We have conducted 3 days practical workshop on Regenerative Agriculture at Our Farm. We explained different topics about Regenerative Agriculture in this workshop. On first day, we explained ecosystem of regenerative agriculture, history of agriculture and practicals of composting bed preparation. On second day, we conducted session on Integrated farm management, seed management, pest management, weed management along with practicals of liquid manure application and organic weed spray. On third day, we conducted session on marketing, storage, economics, certification and practical on integrated farm design. In this workshop total 40 youngsters were participated in 3 day training program.

Glimpse of Workshop:

In this workshop, we hosted Naandi Foundation’s team in one day training program to create awareness and to demonstrate various organic farming models.
In this ranger camp, training and awareness programs for the Introduction of advantages of organic farming and differences between industrial and organic farming methods will be conducted.

The main goals are: Practical hands-on knowledge about organic farming and unlearning about industrial farming as well. The AGRO RANGERS will get continuous support from the organic farming expert and an on-farm visit from our organization. In this workshop, we will arrange an exposure visit to the organic farm model explained in the vegetable farm model, where the AGRO RANGER is running organic farming successfully.

We have arranged our first Ranger Camp successfully on 14 June 2020.
